Oh, the Places You’ll Go! A Hero’s Journey Story

Seuss’ beloved book is a good example of an accessible Hero’s Journey story.  From the Guardian Hoh-the-placesakken-Kraks that patrol “many a frightening creek” to the Tests and Trials of the “Bang-ups and Hang-ups” and the skills only you have “With your head full of brains and your shoes full of feet, you’re too smart to go down any not-so-good street.

Many others before me have pointed out how this book is a superb way to introduce the Hero’s Journey to children (and some just child-ish).
